Clinic booking application

The clinic ran its schedule in a paper diary and a spreadsheet, which meant appointments occasionally overlapped. The application gives staff a shared calendar with day, week and per-practitioner views, including blocks for leave and breaks. Booking checks availability at the moment of writing, so two people cannot take the same slot even if they click at the same time. Patient data is separated by permissions at the database level, not merely by hiding buttons in the interface.
